THE SUPRÉ MONEY TREE - CELEBRATING AUSTRALIAN GROWN FASHION
BRIEF:
Create a brand activation for Retailer SUPRÉ to celebrate the launch of their WESTFIELD SYDNEY store.
CREATIVE EXECUTION:
THE EVENT SUITE created and built a 5m high SUPRÉ money tree at the entry point of Westfield Sydney as a high impact stunt, over the period of one week. The SUPRÉ money tree gifted SUPRÉ dollars to shoppers in Pitt Street Mall over a series of busy lunchtimes in the city, driving footfall and sales in-store.
The money tree was wrapped in SUPRÉ fabrics with vouchers hanging from the tree branches for shoppers to pick their voucher or choice, to win. A white picket fence sectioned off area with 'SUPRÉ security' set up to protect the money tree on each of the four corners. SUPRÉ welcome boards placed around the space explained to shoppers what the activation was all about. The activation was promoted through Westfield and other SUPRÉ social media channels as the FREE FASHION HOUR WITH A SUPRÉ MONEY TREE - WIN $5,000 WORTH OF VOUCHERS.
OUTCOME:
The stunt generated such a strong response, 100m queues formed daily down Pitt St Mall to participate in the event. In-store sales over the period increased by 64%. The client was so pleased with the result, a Christmas tree version of the activation was then implemented in further SUPRÉ stores across Westfield Shopping Centres around Australia.
