The Premise Bar launch

The rain didn't hold off for the launch of The Premise Floating Bar on Thursday night, but it didn't stop guests making the water taxi journey from the Sydney Opera House.

With stunning views of the city's iconic landmarks and the Royal Botanic Gardens, the unique venue served up a variety of the Drambuie cocktails for patrons.

The brains behind the bar's "Dispensary" theme this year, Matilda Swan and Simon Connet, happily braved the weather to see their concept come to fruition.

According to the Connet, the bar 'will be a stylish and exclusive dispensary, set in a spectacular location that's designed to attract Sydney's elite.'

Cocktails on offer included the Dolce Vita and the Libertine. Guests munched on mini wage beef and chicken truffle burgers.
