DRAMBUIE – ROYAL LEGACY AND DRAMBUIE 15 YEAR OLD
BRIEF:
Successfully launch the exclusive Drambuie 15 and Royal Legacy of 1745 products into the Australian market, showcasing the unique craftsmanship and signature heritage of these new product lines.
CREATIVE EXECUTION:
The exclusive Ivy Den was selected as the venue to host a launch event for over 100 VIP guests and media. THE EVENT SUITE brought the launch to life, creating excitement and engagement with the brand that matched the product's elite status. On arrival, guests were welcomed with a decadent selection of cocktails featuring the new Drambuie product lines, matched with a fresh, seasonal selection of canapes. A live Oyster Bar tempted guests while Scot Finnie, the Piano Man delivered a 'Mad Men' themed performance on a black grand piano. The entire venue was spectacularly dressed in dramatic 'black and white zig-zags that mirrored the surreal art theme of the advertising campaign. Dramatic 2 metre high ice sculptures showcased the new Drambuie products and beautiful David Austen white rose bouquets and candles dressed white linen high top tables through-out. The menu's and invitations also mirrored this design.
The Drambuie CEO visiting from Scotland, introduced the range and hosted a product tasting in stylish crystal tumblers. As a further elite experience savoured by only a handful of people around the world, select guests were offered a private one-on-one tasting of the exclusive Jacobite product line. These were served in test tubes, since every 10ml of the precious mix was valued at $200 per person. On departure every guest received a thoughtful gift bag featuring a press kit, sample of the Drambuie product and Whisky stones to keep their drink chilled to perfection.
OUTCOME:
The successful premium launch of these Drambuie products resulted in extensive media coverage and an exceptionally high guest attendance to the event. It also presented an opportunity for key influencers and trade to trial and be educated about the products, driving sales orders. Very positive feedback was received from the client and guests enjoyed a premium experience.
